Ho Ho Ho! Christmas has come early! The Minister for Commerce has extended the Ministerial Order allowing Building Permit applications to not have the owners signatures for Class 1 and Class 10 buildings or incidental structures. As before the owner must still be named on the application.

This extension has so far not been widely released through the usual channels so you may run into some permit authorities who may knock back your application. Here is a link to the Industry Bullettin that you can direct them to: IB033 Extension of Ministerial Order regarding owner signatures
